Twój zakres obowiązków

• lead and manage the procurement team, consisting of 8 direct reports and a total team of 16 professionals
• develop and execute procurement strategies to achieve cost savings, enhance cashflow, and provide production sites with increased flexibility
• collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand production needs, forecast demand, and ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services
• analyze market trends, supplier performance, and industry benchmarks to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes
• establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating terms and agreements to optimize cost and quality
• oversee supplier selection, evaluation, and performance management to ensure compliance with company standards
• drive supply chain analytics to identify areas of improvement, optimize inventory management, and reduce lead times
• develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company guidelines
• provide regular reports and updates to senior management, highlighting key procurement metrics and areas of achievement
• stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends to drive innovation within the procurement function
• actively contribute to the development and execution of the company's overall strategic initiatives

Nasze wymagania

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field. Master's degree is asset
• 5-10 years of progressive leadership experience in procurement management within a manufacturing environment
• strong knowledge of procurement strategies, supplier management, and supply chain optimization
• fluency in English (additional language is asset)
• expert in SAP and strong knowledge of supply chain software for analytics and forecasting
• previous experience in the automotive industry is a significant advantage
• proven track record of achieving cost savings, process improvements, and enhancing supplier relationships
• excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage supply chain analytics for decision-making
• proficiency in procurement software and tools
• demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team
• strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• willingness to travel occasionally as required
